By now you have probably heard that Spirit Airlines is shutting down. Unfortunately, many people have bookings on the airline and will have to find other means of travel. It has been reported that those passengers that booked using credit cards have or will shortly receive refunds. However, those that booked using points or another form of payment may have to wait for the bankruptcy proceedings to get any reimbursement.
